I just moved to VICTORIA BC from New York with my kids and now they are attending a private school close to Nanaimo, Im in desperate need to get them a driver or chauffeur that would be able to drive them to schol and pick them up, and then drive them to their evening activities. Me and my friend want to get to Nanimo and our plane arrives in Vancouver at midnight and we want to catch a first ferrie from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo at 5:15 AM. I have read that the first possible time for a bus is 5:55 AM (route 602) so we cannot catch it. I'm going to be relocating to BC next year, and want to get peoples opinion on the following cities. -Duncan -Powell River -Nanaimo I'm getting into photography so overall it doesn't matter exactly where I live, however I prefer smaller places, but close to stores. Also I don't drive a car (ride a bicycle) so a bike friendly city is a high priority. Budget for housing is under $200,000. I'd prefer a house but realize that odds are I'll end up with a condo with my budget. Also if anyone else has any suggestions on other cities/towns I'd appreciate it. more

My husband was in a hit and run accident Aug./04 and because ICBC denied his claim then, he has a permanent injury now. The doctor told him back then that he needed physio, and an operation on his knee, but we couldn't afford it. Now his knee is a lot worse, and the doctor says it's permanent. We are having trouble finding a lawyer that will take this on, because his claim was denied. They are now looking into it, ICBC that is, but are stalling so much, that the statute of limitations is running out.
